Goal: 20,000 Progress: 6,415
Sponsored by: The Autism Site

Autism is one of the fastest-growing learning and developmental disabilities in the United States: a child is diagnosed every 20 minutes. Families and children are growing more and more desperate for support and resources as the disability does not currently have any early detection methods or a cure.

Autism costs Americans close to $40 billion per year — a figure that underscores the extreme need for further funding, research, and support for families dealing with autism.

Sign the pledge below, adding your name to the list of people who support those affected by autism!

I'm signing my name in favor of improving the lives of the millions of people touched by autism.

Autism is treatable, and people living with autism can make significant progress at any age. But for children, getting the right support early in life is critical to gaining the skills they need to be successful.

We must improve the educational and medical services available to individuals and families living with autism. There is an urgent need for increased funding, services, and support for people living with autism to lead more independent lives. Please recognize this need and do everything you can to lend your support to those touched by autism.
