Newest charity partner helps children with autism

GreaterGood.org's latest charitable partner, St. David's Center for Child & Family Development, provides help for children with severe autism.

This summer, they opened new facilities to help children with autism. "The grand opening of our new Children’s Mental Health Clinic and Autism Day Treatment suites is just the first step in our comprehensive plan to make a positive impact in children’s lives as early as possible," explained Julie Sjordal, executive director, St. David’s Center. "For more than 50 years, St. David’s Center has responded to the changing needs of the community. Our goal is to increase our capacity to meet community need by creating a state-of-the-art early education, early intervention, treatment and training center that serves the developmental needs of children who access our center and services in the community."

Currently, St. David's Center serves more than 2,000 children and their families throughout the Twin Cities Metro area each year.

GreaterGood.org supports their efforts through the Gifts That Give More [tm] program at The Autism Site. To learn how you can help a family coping with autism, please click here.
